The principles of Karma Yoga

Llego A few thoughts about the karma yoga (selfless service ) one of four ways of yoga.

"Karma Yoga is the selfless devotion to all activities, both internal and external, as a sacrifice to the Lord of all the work, offered to the eternal as Master of energy and austerities of all souls. "Bhagavad Gita

right attitude

not what you do that counts, is the attitude with which you do so at determine if a job is Karma Yoga, that is a job that frees or league. The work is prayer.

Swami Sivananda advises us: "lend your hands to work and keep your mind fixed on the lotus feet of the Lord."

right reasons

As with the attitude, not what you do that counts, but the real reason why you do it. Your motive must be pure.

Swami Sivananda said: "Usually the man expected to reap the rewards of his work before starting one. The mind is framed in such a way that can not think of any work without remuneration or reward. A selfish man can not do any service. Work and put the money on the scale. Selfless service is the unknown.

Do your duty

is often referred to "duty" as "just behavior. Incurring demerit if you neglect it.

Your duty is to God, or the Self, the Inner or teacher who teaches you through all the specific circumstances of life as they arise.

Do your best

Whatever you must do, do it in the best way. If you know a better way to serve, you have to use it.

not hold back for fear of getting tired or out of fear of criticism.

not work in a listless because no one is watching you or because you feel that the work is not for you.

Have the best of you. Try to do actions that produce the greatest good and least harm. Constantly increases your Karma Yoga.

Waived results

God is the creator and not you. You are merely a tool. You do not know the intentions or plans of God Himself does not ever change. I'm just the Gunas, the three qualities that play. The way to understand this truth is to work constantly for the sake of work, forgetting the result, whether good or bad. E 'desire to enslave the individual action. The detachment from the action to dissolve karmic seeds. The separation also means detachment from the results by the type of work itself. No job is above or below another. Do not be attached to your work, but ready to give it up if necessary.

Serve God or the Self in all

Do unto others as you would have them to you. Love your neighbor as yourself. Adapt, be accommodating and solve problems. Endures insults, bear the injuries. Unity in diversity. We are part of the same body. Practice humility. Pay attention to power, fame, reputation, to the praise and criticism.

Follow the rules of work

Somehow, every job has taught us something. You can learn different skills doing different jobs. Each job has different requirements in terms of time, degree of concentration, skill or experience, emotional, physical energy, will. Try to do any work you are doing well.
