Where I Can Find Illimitux

have never been a fan of Decemberists, Colin Meloy while picking up that had a special talent to write songs. I quite liked Castaways and cutouts, the next a little less and Picaresque was not too bad although it did not last very much in my stereo. we clarify that we are not talking of disappointments, but that record does not come into full harmony ... that's all. when the bulk of Portland seemed to have already exhausted all his fine vein, comes the new meatloaf The Crane Wife to offset (for major capitol this time). from the first listen this seems to be the masterpiece of the band. and I like it. I do not know why but I like it, although there are songs that last 20 minutes and progressive dangerous accents and echoes of the '70s, managed, I have to say, so superb (see the suite The Island: Come and See / The Landlord's Daughter / You'll Not Feel the Drown where in the middle of Jethro Tull and sprout well, so called, I would have shit, but ...). is because in the end we are talking about alt rock skillfully blended into a fabulous pop vein (but how beautiful Yankee Bayonet ?). I know so much that it will become one of the great albums of 2006.
